Mads Rosendahl Thomsen is associate professor in Comparative Literature (Aarhus University, Denmark). He is the author of Mapping World Literature and an editor of World Literature: A Routledge Reader. Later this year, his next book The New Human in Literature: Posthuman Visions of Changes in Body, Mind and Society since 1900 will be published by Bloomsbury. In the summer of 2013, He will be teaching at the Institute for World Literature at Harvard University. Recently he has been elected as the head of Satellite, a newly founded organization for literature.
